FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, UNITED STATES, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Home Design and Remodeling Show, South Florida’s largest home design and improvement expo and a trusted resource for homeowners for more than 30 years, returns to the Broward County Convention Center September 4-7, 2026, for four days of home inspiration, innovation and expert access over Labor Day weekend.

CELEBRITY GUEST: CARSON KRESSLEY

This year's Fort Lauderdale show will be headlined by the Emmy-winning television personality, style expert and design star Carson Kressley, famously know for Queer Eye, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Get a Room with Carson & Thom and BBQ Brawl.

With decades of experience in fashion, style and television, Kressley has expanded his signature design perspective into the home through projects including Bravo’s Get a Room with Carson & Tom, where he and leading designers transformed spaces with an emphasis on color, personality and individual style, and anything but cookie-cutter finishes. He also partnered with Ballard Designs on an interiors and furniture collection entitled “The Thrill of the Hunt,” based on his love for the equestrian and English country style.

LIVE LUXURY WALLPAPER INSTALLATION WITH HGTV FEATURED EXPERT KATIE HUNT

Wallpaper is back (although, truthfully, it never really left, and we’re glad about it). But forget the peeling florals on Grandma’s walls. Today’s wallpaper has had quite the glow-up, with luxury textures, bold patterns, and elevated finishes taking over timeless interiors.

Katie Hunt of Katie’s Wallpaper Installation, who has been seen on HGTV’s Property Brothers and Holmes on Homes, will take the Home Design State Friday and Saturday to showcase the possibilities of today’s luxury wallcovering.

Katie Hunt works with some of the world’s finest wallcoverings in South Florida Homes and will bring the process to life with live wallpaper installation demonstrations on stage, followed by opportunities for attendees to learn more about materials, technique and the impact wallpaper can make on transforming a space.

The Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show turns Labor Day weekend into an opportunity for homeowners to shop, compare, learn and plan their next projects without traveling from showroom to showroom.
